[ He's still in Mickey's cabin. He's starting to look a little frazzled again, but this time it's self-induced. Between stressing over Kira and his other self, on top of lingering stress with Dean, sleep was becoming a rare commodity once again. And he was pushing himself harder than before. ]

I know this is gonna be a touchy topic for a few of you, but I really gotta know, for absolute certain, who's been a target of any kind for that undead bastard. 'Specially those that he's bitten. But even if he's taken a...uh...a special interest in you. I don't need any details, I just gotta know.

[ He scratched at his forehead, a pencil tucked between his fingers. ]

I keep gettin' bits. And each bit just...makes it more of a nightmare.

[ He jots something down on a pad of paper that's out of frame. He continued to feel personally responsible, and was more determined than ever to fix whatever his other self had done. ]

Why the question?

[ He has a few false starts, before something in him seems to soften a bit and he shrugs. ]

Lotta reasons. Mostly, I just wanna make sure they're protected if he comes back.

My Stiles and I were both attacked. He also threatened Allison.

[There are others, but she doesn't know if she should expose them, so she won't for now.]

[ He started jotting down notes on the paper on his lap. ]

You...Stiles...Allison. Anyone else you know of? I already got Stephen as havin' been bit and Dean for bein' a bloody idiot.

Stephen was his main target as far as I know. [She won't mention the fact that he was demoted, though.]

What d'you mean "main target"?

He just seemed to focus on him a lot.

He was bitten only the once, wasn't he?

I think it was twice. [She's pretty sure of it, in fact.]

How many does he need to turn?

Seen it take after just one, before. Sometimes not until after as many as four or five.

Does he have any control? Over whether or not he turns someone?

In a way, I suppose. Far as I can tell, it's not like they can elect to have a bite turn or not. But they can stop before it sets in or...they seem pretty fond of breakin' a victims neck before it takes. But turnin' people's kinda their main goal, after gettin' their bellies full, at least. Never met one workin' to NOT turn 'em.

He hasn't turned anyone on the Barge yet. Do you think because he's an inmate and weaker he won't be able to?

Maybe. I dunno. I hope that's the case, that our good Admiral had the foresight to take that away from him entirely. The last thing this place needs is him buildin' a nest of his own. But with all I've been seein' of what he's said on the network? I'm worryin' it's a strategic choice. And that's...it's not good.

It seems to be the way he usually works. [Sigh. Just what they need.]

Any clue what his angle is?

Hard to say. This is all new territory for me. And for him, I'm guessin'. Usually they're pretty straight forward. Earn people's trust through deception, feed frequently, turn as many hapless bastards as they can get their fangs on. But all those have been tossed right out the window. I've never dealt with one that's exposed and not tryin' to kill anyone who knows.

I guess the fact that if he kills someone here, it won't really be permanent probably has something to do with it. [But turning might be permanent, as far as she knows.]

Don't be so sure of that. Knowin' his food source would come back if he killed it would lessen his restraint. Could be he's waitin' until he can set up shop, as it were. This...breed keeps their victims alive but trapped, feedin' on 'em for days before turnin' or killin' them.

[No. She doesn't like the sound of that anymore than she likes the idea of him killing someone. And the more she hears, the less she feels like there's something worth saving.]

Well. If anyone goes missing, we'll know where to look.

You'll wanna check his cabin. Check for any hidden doors and the like. They know how to hide what they're doin' from the authorities just as well as they can manipulate them. I checked it out best as I could and there's nothin' I could find. But that don't mean it won't change.

[ He was just going to intentionally avoid mentioning how hasty his search had been. Vampire nests he could handle. But there was something especially unnerving about having his own house turned into one. ]

I'll keep that in mind, but I'm glad you already looked for now. [Even if he's not there and hasn't been there, Lydia doesn't wanna go anywhere near his cabin ever again.]

If he comes back, might wanna talk to the Admiral. Make sure he doesn't go modifyin' his cabin.

I don't think he's even allowed to do that as an inmate. But I will.

I doubt that's gonna stop him from tryin'.
