[As far as revenge goes, it isn't what Stiles wants to do. What he wants to do is test and see if a wooden stake through the heart will kill Jerry. If holy water or garlic or silver or even mountain ash would affect him in any way. What he wants to do is find his weaknesses so he can inform the rest of the Barge so they can prepare themselves.

But attempting to kill an inmate -- even one that he thinks really deserves it, like Jerry, risks a demotion and that's something Stiles can't afford. Not only does he have an inmate of his own to worry about, he has a deal that means everything. And if he gets demoted, he's not sure he'd make it to graduation. He wouldn't regret killing Jerry, however temporary it would be.

He regrets the people who got hurt back home. He regrets that Allison died. He regrets that he hurt Scott, that he almost killed his dad, that he injured Coach and Isaac. But someone who hurts someone he cares about? He wouldn't regret hurting them at all. He knows himself well enough to know that while Scott and Lydia don't want to hurt anyone, Stiles and Allison are far more alike in the sense that they wouldn't feel regret for hurting or killing someone that hurt someone they love.

So leaving Jerry alone with one of the most annoying songs that he's ever heard? He knows it's petty. That it's not even a drop in the bucket. But it does make him feel a step above completely powerless in this situation.]

See ya!

[His voice is cheerful but it isn't sincere cheer. Let the vampire think he believes he's bested him in some way. Stiles knows better. He leaves without looking back, heading up the stairs and away from Zero.]
