2nd Bite // [ Audio ] // [ Spam ]

[ He sounds almost bored. But more or less amicable and polite. ]
If anyone is up to the task, I could really go for an apple or two. Assuming, of course there are any on board. But honestly, I'd settle for...any manner of fruit. There must be someone willing to help a guy out in bring some down here.
[ Spam ] // [ Back dated, sort of. Spanning a total of 7 days, starting when he was locked up ]
[ The irony wasn't lost on him. Locked up like this, after what he'd done. But he hadn't been so kind as to provide such amenities as beds. While he appreciated the twisted joke, below the surface, he was furious. A low simmering fury that never quite touched the surface. And it wasn't the indignation of a bunch of teenagers locking him up. But rather that as weak as he'd felt in his room, down here it was even worse. He was no stronger than the rest of them. His senses dulled to an extreme.
Over the first few days, his wounds healed finally. Frustratingly slow, for his tastes. But soon, the strange, unnatural looking burns were gone and he was restored to his not-so-true human-looking state.
He was a patient inmate. Biding his time. Calmly observing the wardens who came by. Even striking up idle conversations. Hardly the cruel and sadistic monster that allegedly landed him in that cell. Otherwise, he spent his time quietly observing the network, or resting. He was as calm as he was patient. Never restless. Never aggressive. At least not without provocation.
Even if things did get rough, he seemed to always return to his friendly demeanor, as if the previous incidents never happened. It always seemed to make people so very uncomfortable when they knew what it hid. And that's the way he liked it. ]
((OOC: Dates are still a little fuzzy, pending closure of the epic fight in his intro post. There might be some infirmary time before he's brought to Level 0, but I've given permission for maximum time, cause he's being a very bad inmate. Feel free to harass him at any time in any fashion. Audio post is for today, toward the end of his stay.))

Under that term? No. What's it mean?
[voice]//[private]
[The resentment is creeping in pretty strongly here.]
[voice]//[private]
We don't have anything quite like that. Similar, in some aspects I suppose. But not that. As a "metahuman," what abilities have you been granted?
[ He respectfully doesn't press the HOW. Well. Not really out of respect, because didn't really care about the past. ]
[voice]//[private] -> [video]//[private]
[He switches over to video. He's got an intact version of his polymer skin on at present, so as far as Jerry can tell he looks entirely normal. He's sitting down behind a desk, elbow resting on the nearby surface as he props his chin up idly with the back of one hand. (He's also got a small splint across the knuckles of his other hand. He'd prefer if you didn't ask about that.)]
Call me again in another week, if you're interested and still here. By then my artificial skin will have started falling off, and I can show you what I look like now. Thanks to all of this.
[video]//[private]
[ His own feed switches to video. But all that can be seen is an empty cell. A bit of paper can be seen, floating in the frame, before crumbling under the force of an invisible hand. ]
...my image cannot be transferred through video. Photographs, either.
[video]//[private]
...You're a vampire, then. Or that's my best guess.
[Pop culture normally doesn't keep that detail anymore. But he knows his classics.]
[video]//[private]
You're not wrong.
[video]//[private]
I think you're the first one yet, at least while I've been here. We've got werewolves and magic users aplenty though. A few psychics, I believe, too.
[video]//[private]
You have a great deal more than you know. Tell me, do your abilities, limited or otherwise, grant you any enhanced senses?
[video]//[private]
[video]//[private]
[ He says "banshee" but with the pronunciation of an Irish native. A subtle but noticeable difference. ]
[video]//[private]
I hear as fine as I ever did. It's touch and taste that are most effected. But all that besides the point, no. I didn't hear this wail that you're describing.
If we've one of...those aboard, this is news to me.
[video]//[private]
[ He's just going to leave out the fact that he was at ground zero of said scream. ]
[video]//[private]
[video]//[private]
I wouldn't expect you to know everything. Guy.

[Right now he's perfectly indifferent to Jerry. Of course, for him, 'indifferent' can mean 'wouldn't put him out if he was on fire'. There's nothing in it for him to look out for strangers.
Especially purposefully sinister, supernatural ones.]
[video]//[private]
That depends. Are we on the same side? Truly?
[video]//[private]
If it's the prisoners here versus those self-righteously appointed to attempt holding the leash then oh, I am with you there. I seem to have been cornered into unfortunately settling in for the long term just now, but that doesn't mean if an escape hatch suddenly opened I wouldn't be out of here in a heartbeat.
But this is still a prison, in spite of it's nature and it's oddities, and though I lack personal familiarity with the experience previously, I'm given to understand it's natural that alliances get formed.
I thought myself immune to the particular weakness. I've learned recently that I am not. So you get what I'm sure is a fairly standard warning: you cross any of mine, you have crossed me. I don't play nice like the Wardens you've agitated so far do. And I hold grudges.
[His voice which was darkening and edging to a growl throughout, goes back to where it was before and he smirks again, almost indifferently.]
But that's not a threat. It's mere statement of fact. After all, you've yet to do anything I find threatening.
[video]//[private]
It sounds like you and I have a fair bit in common, guy.
[ He didn't so much as hold grudges and get swift and violent payback. ]
